The luxury outdoor holiday specialist is launching a Young Travel Writer of the Year competition on the brand new kidz blog and encouraging children to write all about their travels in a bid to win a family holiday.

With two age ranges* the competition kicks off on 1 February and will run for one month. All entrants have to do is write a story no longer than 300 words about a recent holiday for the Al Fresco blog. The best entry each day will be uploaded onto the kids area for everyone to read and then the top ten will be judged for the chance to win a holiday to an Al Fresco parc in Europe of their choice.

Nick Riggs, managing director said: “We launched our brand new kids blog last month and thought this was the perfect inaugural competition.

“Children have such creativity and a lot to say, so we are hoping to uncover some really interesting stories and tales about their trips – who knows we might even find the next Bill Bryson or Michael Palin.”

The competition closes on 1 March and their holiday will include travel to and from the parc.
