Following the research issued today by the Royal College of Optometrists that states that 76% of children don't wear sunglasses when out in the sun, and thus are potentially storing up damage to their eyesight later in life, Boots Opticians Optometrist Carolyn Zweig is encouraging parents to choose maximum UV protection for their kids.
New Approach to Neonatal Care
New research released today by the POPPY Project (Parents of Premature babies Project) highlights the importance of family-centred care in UK neonatal units and calls for an updated approach to current practices. The research also identifies effective ways for health professionals to communicate and provide information and support to parents of a premature baby.

ChildLine founder Esther Rantzen, is getting behind social care by supporting the re-launch of carer support charity - Crossroads Care. "There are an astonishing six million carers in this country, many of them school age children. When they reach a point at which they can no longer cope on their own, they need to know where to find help they can trust."
