This book is an easy-to use restricted diet cookbook with 100+ delicious that everyone in the family can enjoy whether its dairy free, wheat free, soya free or nut free, or all of them!
The book starts off with useful information on what food intolerance is, how to identify food sensitivity, having a healthy restricted diet, how to shop and cooking tips.
The recipes cover all sorts of meals from breakfasts to main meals, snacks to puddings. Each recipe has clear explanations on the ingredients so you know which product to use for your family with clear alternative to standard products which may cause intolerance. I was surprised by how easy it was to follow.
The recipes are ones for meals which all the family will enjoy eating so you no longer need to make more than one meal for everybody. Although there are no pictures in the book of the meals, the instructions are quite clear.
We tried a Crunchy Lemon Flan (page 178) and Oat Biscuits (page 212) using a dairy free diet - they were easy to make and everyone really enjoyed them - whether dairy free eaters or not.
