Who says you have to say goodbye to all things pink and sparkly when your little girl outgrows her Sleeping Beauty costume (sniff!) and aspirations to be Angelina Ballerina? I still have a weakness for the shamelessly girlie shade and the pink proof is everywhere

At last, it’s time to think about dusting off the flip-flops and wondering if we can justify one or two spring wardrobe additions (that linen skirt was always a bit see-through anyway/those “white” t-shirts are really only OK for sleeping in now, etc. etc.).

With all the lovely floral numbers in the shop windows, I’m wondering at what point I should be out of boots and scarves and into that ‘between season’ area of my wardrobe.
